I’m fascinated by the power of visual storytelling. I was always drawing when I was a little girl—I doodled, I illustrated my stories. My love of art was evident all through high school, when I carried painted-up backpacks and took every art class my school offered. Once I hit college, I went all in on writing…

But man, I missed it. When I started publishing books independently, that itch to get back to it only intensified. Because suddenly, I was designing. I was putting together cover art. I was laying out interiors of books.

I wanted to do more.

One New Year’s Resolution later, I had an iPad and was online taking courses to better my drawing skills and learn the ins and outs of drawing software.

I soon launched InkBerry Designs, a name I chose because the inkberry is a member of the holly family. My first offerings were greeting cards (I gravitated to them because they really are like little books that the purchaser can fill with their own personal story or message) and surface patterns.

Digital and print-your-own versions are available for every printed (physical) card in the shop.

You turned your … into a ! congrats card. Perfect for the grammar nut.

Coming soon to InkBerry Cards: e-invitations and cards that can be personalized.
